About Matthew

Currently living life on the tropical island of Mauritius. I started my career as a developer, and over time, I transitioned into operational business and then product management before eventually driving executive-level product strategy. My unique blend of practical experiences allows me to bridge the gap between the business and tech worlds.

I have a diverse skill set and manage teams specializing in public platform development, technical marketing, machine learning / AI, data processing, and business intelligence. Each of these skills has contributed to my ability to deliver world-class marketplace and technical services to numerous businesses across Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, and Switzerland.

I have served on several business and technical boards, including the Ringier AI Board. A strong communicator with excellent analytical skills who can distil complex problems into their core issues. While also demonstrating the ability to articulate solutions and work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.

Even outside of work I have a passion for technology, but leaning more towards gaming, virtual reality and generative AI, where I build and sometimes even finish pet projects in Unity, C# and Python.
